Program Overview
Amazon associates attend a full-stack Java coding bootcamp on a part-time basis. This is a remote coding bootcamp program. It’s delivered synchronously every other weekend during “Code Jams,” and in between, you’ll learn on your own time via our learning management system. Throughout, you’ll have access to tutoring sessions, instructors, and your classmates!
Your lead instructors are individuals dedicated to achieving our mission. Many of them have 10+ years of experience in software development. The associate instructors were recently trained in full-stack skills or have a few years of experience in the field. Both instructors will be present during class.
The course takes place over a span of 22 weeks.
All classes and support are held virtually.
Live sessions (“Code Jams”):
- Attend over Zoom
- Every other weekend (Saturday AND Sunday)
- Each session lasts from 9am to 5pm EST
- Led by lead and associate instructors
Self-guided work:
- 10 to 15 hours per week
- Flexible hours with deadlines
Additional support:
- Weekly tutoring sessions
